The second largest island in the Canary archipelago, Fuerteventura has as much to offer as the more visited Canary Islands, but a great boon that they don't: a little less people and a lot more peace and quiet. Fuerteventura is still relatively undiscovered by mainstream tourism so the island’s beaches are sparsely populated and there isn’t as much in the way of tourist attractions. However, if you’re looking for a holiday spent doing just about nothing in the sun and relaxing under the stars at night, Fuerteventura is the place to visit.
