They did not adequately inform me about after hours drop offs and no one answers the costumer support number at the rental location. The following day they reported that there was damage to the vehicle, but I had no incidents and have 4 witnesses who can attest that they saw no apparent damages to the vehicle while I was in possession of it. I tried to get this sorted but again, no answer to the number so I had to go in person. I booked insurance through kayak/allianz, which required me to have an estimate of the damage to make a claim. Hertz requires me to have a claim number to give me an estimate. I have been in this loop of calls, holds and frustration all day. In person, they only had one person who was able to assist me, and he also had to assist any other customers who came in, which made my wait much longer. All in all, I have wasted an entire day for damages that occurred unbeknownst to me and when I tried to work with them to sort it out, they sent me on a wild goose chase with little to know customer support.
