We had a major issue with luggage. Paid for luggage in hold. Asked at airport (a Ryanair desk with two people near where West jet bag drop was)where to drop our checked bag. We’re told to go to departures which turned out to be security. Went through security, still couldn’t find a place to check our bags. Asked questions, went to Ryan help desk and were told we would have to pay again and that we should have known the bag check wasn’t through security. Granted that’s right but if one doesn’t travel often, and I haven’t since Covid, it doesn’t seem logical. I try to follow instructions of uniformed staff answering my questions. Ryan supervisor at help desk was rude and demeaning, like it was our fault and we should have known better. So with time short, we paid twice for luggage, a very costly low end carrier. Not recommended.
