Low cost airline bmibaby has launched a new loyalty scheme aimed at passengers using Manchester Airport.
The airline will be offering new rewards to thank customers for travelling with it, through location-based network Gowalla (www.gowalla.com).
Pre or post flight, travellers can register their flights on the social networking site and will be automatically in with a chance to win a pair of free flights.
Customers have the opportunity to register their flights both before and after they take off with Gowalla and will then be included in a prize draw to win a pair of flights.
Julian Carr, managing director of bmibaby, said, “We are pleased to be working with Gowalla on this customer reward scheme. At bmibaby we embrace new social media initiatives. We believe this is a fun way in which we can offer our customers something extra.”
The scheme will also be rolled out to other travel hubs in the near future.
