Strictly Come Dancing meanie Craig Revel Horwood has caused controversy by saying that he wants ballet legend Darcey Bussell on the judging panel for the next series.

With all her experience, Bussell would certainly be a good choice for the show. So as we count down to the next series, we take a look at the best dance cities in the world.

Moscow

Home to some of the world’s best ballet schools, the Russian capital is the number one place to find some impressive movers and shakers. Traditionally, ballet has to be seen in the historic Bolshoi Theatre, which has hosted hundreds of years of outstanding performances.

Havana

Salsa dancing was born in Cuba during the 1940s. Thanks to a funky mixture of Mambo and African drum rhythms the dance spread quickly. While you can find salsa dance classes all around the world, to really get a taste for salsa head to Cuba.

Eivissa

If you’re looking for something a little more contemporary, Eivissa – in Ibiza – is the place for you. Famous for its happy hard-core dance, trance and pop music, Ibiza attracts some of the world’s biggest and best DJs to play to millions of revellers every year.
