Lyon-Saint Exupery International Airport is located 24km (15 miles) from the city centre of Lyon. Easily accessible via the direct high-speed train lines from Marseille and Paris, its location gives travellers a wonderful opportunity to explore three of France’s most vibrant cities without having to do too much travelling.

Getting into Town
Train: Passengers can board the TGV from the train station, which is connected to the main airport buildings. The TGV departs from Lyon-Saint Exupery to a number of French cities at regular intervals. Please consult the airport’s guide for more specific information.
Bus: There are regular buses into Lyon, as well as other main cities in the region.
Taxi: You can find taxis in the designated pickup area outside Terminal 1. The journey to the city centre will cost you €40-€45 before 7pm and €55-€60 after that.
Car Parking
The airport has several short- and long-term options available for those travelling by car. The parking areas further away from the terminals are serviced by a free bus shuttle service every ten minutes.

The airport has a designated information centre in the heart of the building to provide travellers with a range of services.

Money and communications: There are six ATMs located at the entrances of both terminals, currency exchange in Le Centre, and a post office.
Luggage: Baggage services available at Lyon-Saint Exupery include a luggage check, left luggage and a dry-cleaning service. There’s also a luggage-wrapping service that costs €8 per bag and is available from 6am to 8pm daily.
Conference and business: There’s a range of business services, including a designated business centre, meeting rooms, secretarial services and even working lunches.
Other facilities: There are good disabled facilities, but travellers with special needs need to inform their airline before arrival of any special requests.
Wi-Fi: There are Wi-Fi zones available in the airport, but they’re not free. Ask the local staff regarding the pricing plans. There’s also a multimedia lounge with Internet stations.
