To/from the airport: Docklands Light Railway runs to the airport. Public buses leave every 10-20 minutes or so. Taxis are plentiful.

Heathrow

London Heathrow Airport (LHR): www.heathrowairport.com is located 24km (15 miles) west of London.

To/from the airport: The non-stop train service to London Paddington Station takes 15-20 minutes. The airport is also on the London Underground’s Piccadilly Line, which can take passengers into Central London. Numerous local buses stop at the central bus station and Terminal 4. Coaches connect the airport to more than 500 destinations throughout the UK. London’s licensed black cabs serve London Heathrow Airport and are available outside all the terminals.

Luton

London Luton Airport (LTN): www.london-luton.com is located 56km (35 miles) northeast of London.

To/from the airport: A shuttle bus links Luton Airport with Luton Airport Parkway Station, from where there are regular trains to central London. Bus services are extensive. Taxis are plentiful and a fare to central London will cost about £70.

Stansted

London Stansted Airport (STN): www.stanstedairport.com is 55km (35 miles) northeast of central London.

To/from the airport: The Stansted Express runs from London Liverpool Street. Local buses run to surrounding towns. Taxis are available and average fares to central London are £80-£100.

Facilities: There are restaurants, shops and bars in the terminal. Other facilities include ATMs, a bureau de change, business lounge and Internet cafe.
