There was a time when the January sales actually started in January, but these days the sales start as soon as Christmas is over. Looking to get away next year? Looking to save some money and bag yourself a bargain? Check out these great deals.
Tucan Travel has launched an early January Sale, offering up to a 50 per cent discount on all of their Budget Expedition Tours.
The budget tours to Asia, which includes Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, offer a minimum 40 per cent discount for those who book six months in advance, book multiple tours, group booking or are under 26 years. The deal is also available to all repeat Tucan Travel customers. The same deal applies to their South American Explorer tour, too. Local payment charges are in addition to this deal.
Tucan Travel are also offering 30 per cent off on departures to Cuba, Sri Lanka, Burma and Borneo. Also, if you are feeling the pinch after Christmas, Tucan Travel only need a deposit to book a holiday; but you must pay in full 60 days before departure.
The Tucan Travel January Sale is running until January 31 2013.
Not to be out-done in the early sales offering, escorted holiday company The Travel Department is offering a great travel deal. This includes a three-night city break (taxes not included) to a European destination, including Prague, Lisbon, Budapest, Madrid and Barcelona – free of charge for any long-haul travel deals booked with the company.
As an example, you could book a nine-night long-haul holiday to Beijing and the Great Wall of China and you could get three nights in Lisbon, Portugal – a city break worth £299. You only need to pay the taxes of £50 per person. This offer is available until January 18 2013.
