As air travel becomes increasingly more popular and with passenger numbers predicted to hit 3.91bn by 2017, the likelihood is more of us will face the prospect of even longer queues and waits in the terminal. Fortunately for us, an increasing number of airports have decided to try and put the fun back into flying by creating a variety of different attractions and distractions for their passengers. From ice rinks to IMAX cinemas, spas to museums, airports are now becoming destinations in themselves.
