National Chocolate Week already underway, giving us all a chance to indulge our chocolaty side completely guilt-free.
For those who want to celebrate the event in a way that will ensure that their taste buds are suitably tickled, an exclusive city break for chocolate lovers in Edinburgh could be just the ticket.
Princes Street Suites, a prestigious city centre apartment provider, has teamed up with luxury boutique chocolatier Coco Chocolate to offer sweet-toothed travellers a range of mouth-watering experiences on offer from a personal tasting evening to a hands-on chocolate school.
Established in 2004, Coco has two boutique outlets in Edinburgh and is often sold in both Harvey Nichols and Selfridges in London.
The award-winning organic chocolatiers have previously pushed flavour boundaries by creating a haggis-spiced chocolate.
They have also established a proud reputation for a commitment to creating “real chocolate” only – high in cocoa content and rich cocoa butter.
Visitors can indulge in the Taste of Coco, a one-hour masterclass hosted by a Coco connoisseur, which takes them on a guided tour of the delectable range of treats, while attendees sip on a glass of champagne.
Travellers will then get the chance to kick back and relax in the comfort of a stylish two or three-bedroom apartment at Princes Street Suites.
Prices start from £70 per person, based on four adults sharing a two-bedroom apartment, or £60 per person, based on six adults sharing a three-bedroom apartment.
Chocolate lovers can also take their experience a step further by attending the Coco Chocolate School, where a two-hour masterclass will give them the opportunity to learn how to hand-temper chocolate on marble, along with making a selection of organic chocolate bars, moulded chocolates and fruit-filled broken chocolate.
The package includes private transfers to and from the Coco Kitchen, champagne on arrival and a luxury Coco hamper.
