The airline will add a second Sunday flight to the route from March 31, departing at 1:25pm from Belfast International Airport and 2:50pm from Birmingham Airport.
Fares on the route start from £22.99 for a one-way flight, including taxes, and are on sale now via easyJet.com.
“We only launched our Birmingham route in October and due to an overwhelming demand for affordable fares, we are delighted to announce the doubling of our Sunday flights,” said Ali Gayward, easyJet Head of Northern Ireland.
“Our aim has always been to make travel easy and affordable and we’re delighted to be able to show further commitment to Northern Ireland by responding to demand and adding the extra service.”
Since launching the Belfast-Birmingham route back in October, easyJet has flown more than 14,000 passengers. The extra flights will take the annual total to 150,000.
“Sunday is a strong travelling day for both business commuters and people on weekend breaks, therefore doubling our Sunday offering will give our passengers further choice in flight times at affordable prices,” added Ms Gayward.
“Earlier this month easyJet introduced allocated seating on all Belfast flights from November 27. This, along with our Flexi fares reinforces easyJet’s position as Belfast’s leading airline for business passengers.”
Tickets for easyJet’s new Manchester-Moscow route, the first ever between the two cities, have now gone on sale.
The airline will operate four flights per week each way from 28 March, with fares starting from £47.49 one-way.
“We are pleased to announce that the Manchester-Moscow flights are now on sale,” said Paul Simmons, UK Director for easyJet.
“We’ve proved over the years that when we enter a new market we open it up – bringing in competition and lower fares and enabling more people to travel on the route and we are sure that the new flights will be very popular with leisure and business passengers alike.”
