Heathrow Express, the fast train service that travels between Paddington Station and the airport, is operating an amended timetable today (Friday, 27 May) and tomorrow (Saturday, 28 May).

In a message on its website, the company apologises for the disruption and says it will “continue to do everything possible to minimise disruption” to travellers’ journeys.

Heathrow-bound flyers are advised to visit the website to check train times before travelling.

Between 8am and 8pm, Heathrow Express is operating a service every 30 minutes between Paddington and Heathrow (Terminal 5 via Terminals 1 and 3). The first train service will leave Paddington at 8:10am, with trains at 40 and 10 minutes past the hour. The last service will depart the train station at 7.10pm.

From the airport, the first train will leave Terminal 5 at 7:57am. Services will continue to depart at 27 and 57 minutes past the hour until the final service at 6:57pm.

There will be no service between 8pm and 8am.

The service will still take a whizzy 15 minutes to Heathrow Central and an additional six minutes to Terminal 5. A replacement – and free – bus service will operate between Terminal 4 and Heathrow Central Terminals 1 and 3. The bus will depart every 15 minutes and take 20 minutes.

The price of a Heathrow Express ticket remains £16.50 for an Express Class Single.

– Heathrow Connect services will not operate today or tomorrow. Travellers may use First Great Western services to reach Heathrow Connect route stops. Tickets are valid on First Great Western services for stations between Hayes and Paddington. Airport customers may use the 140 local bus service from Hayes to Heathrow Central Terminals 1 and 3, the journey time is about 25 minutes.
