Holiday company Inghams is offering a number of discounted breaks to European ski destinations over the New Year.
Departing on Friday, 30 December, just in time to bring in the New Year, guests can enjoy an extra night’s stay to avoid the hassle of travelling on New Year’s Eve.
This week saw some of the first snowfall in Europe this season, with Solden in Austria reporting as much as 24cm in 24 hours.
After a slow start, many European resorts have now opened up more runs and are operating near-full capacity.
Inghams is offering cut-price ski holidays to high-altitude resorts in France, Austria, and Switzerland.
Receiving its first major snowfall over the weekend, the French resort of Val d’Isere offers a large ski area and lively nightlife. The resort is on offer for £500 per person – a saving of £275 each.
This price is based on five sharing, and covers eight nights’ self-catered accommodation, flights from Gatwick and transfers to the resort.
Ski breaks to Austria are also available from Inghams. Catered accommodation in the lively resort of St Anton is available from £569 per person, saving £390 each.
This includes eight nights’ full-board accommodation at Chalet Rose, with four-course evening meals, flights and transfers.
The high-altitude Austrian resort of Obergurgl is also on offer at a discounted price. For £1,069 per person (a saving of £269 each) guests can stay at the Hotel Sportiv.
This includes eight nights’ half-board accommodation, flights and transfers. Free lift passes are also available for children under eight-years-old.
Inghams is also offering New Year ski holidays to Zermatt in Switzerland. Full-board accommodation at the Chalet Aeschhorn A is available for £599 per person.
This price includes return flights from Gatwick, as well as transfers to and from the resort. All ski holidays depart on 30 December, and flights can be changed from Gatwick to other UK airports for an extra fee.
