Travellers heading for the beaches of Corfu this summer will now be able to climb aboard a new Ryanair service from London Stansted Airport.
Starting today, Thursday 7 July, the low-cost airline will operate the new scheduled flights to the Greek island twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
Managing director at Stansted Airport, Nick Barton said, “Ryanair boosted our range of Greek connections in April with the launch of new services to Rhodes and Thessaloniki, and I’m sure this new connection to Corfu will prove just as popular.
“London Stansted offers more scheduled flights throughout Europe than any other airport in the world, so we’re delighted to add Corfu to our scheduled route network,” he added.
One-way fares from Stansted to Corfu are currently available for booking for less than £60 through Ryanair’s website, www.ryanair.com
If you’re thinking of a winter break, Ryanair also recently announced that it would be launching a new flight from Stansted to Malmo in Sweden, which will take off from 2 November this year.
