For the majority of us they’re our main means of getting from A to B, but for all their hard work schlepping us about, our feet rarely get their moment in the spotlight.
A blog by London-based photographer Tom Robinson puts the humble foot right into focus with his photographic series “Feet First”.
While sitting on Brighton Beach back in 2005, Tom and his new girlfriend Verity thought the view of their feet pointing out towards the sea would make a nice shot.
And from there the project grew.
The couple continued to document their travels in this unique way as they journeyed all over the globe, everywhere from India to Greece, Australia to Brazil.
Then, in 2011, the series took a new twist with the arrival of a third set of feet – the couple’s daughter Matilda. You can already see the little girl’s feet getting bigger and bigger.
