Word, all b-boys and b-girls be all up in the place tagging bricks like what.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the best places in the world to see the art form known as graffiti (or “street art” as art dealers insist on calling it).

Hosier Lane – Melbourne, Australia

This iconic little alley area is absolutely covered in graffiti, even the wheelie bins, and has been a hotbed for street art for decades.

Seeing as it’s a stone’s throw from the famous Flinders Street station and Southbank area, you have no excuse not to visit.

5Pointz – Queens, New York City, USA

Only people approved by the owners are allowed to put their stamp on 5Pointz: The Institute of Higher Burnin’ (to give it its full name).

There are talks of the city wanting to tear down this ever-changing brick canvas due to safety issues, but the iconic building is defying the naysayers and still on Jackson Avenue for all to visit.

Venice Beach – Los Angeles, California

This part of LA has been known for graffiti for decades but in 2007, the walls on the beach were granted official status as a canvas for art and now permits are given to those wanting to decorate them.

Wander around the surrounding area and you’ll also see the odd bit of street art in the alleys and walls of the stalls and bars.
