Remember any of these social media moments of 2015 that made it viral?

1. Kate Moss flies EasyJet, yes EasyJet!

Kate Moss made the international news, as well as a Twitter-frenzy, after an incident onboard an EasyJet flight from Bodrum to London-Luton. Escorted by police, Moss allegedly caused havoc and insulted the cabin crew (including the pilot) several times. It’s diva Kate Moss, so kinda expected.

2. Man meets his doppelganger on flight

You know the saying: it’s a small world and that’s what these two guys aboard the Ryanair flight to Shannon must have thought.

Destiny or coincidence, Neil Douglas was shocked to find his doppelganger Robert Stirling to be sat in his seat, but instead of asking the stranger to move Neil took a selfie and posted it on Twitter. The post has been shared thousands of times as well as becoming a worldwide overnight viral sensation. How cool, or shall we say creepy?!

3. Awkward plane proposals

There were actually quite a few plane proposals that made it viral this year. With thousands of shares, these sky-high proposals inspired the new generation of future-husbands and wives-to-be.

4. David Cameron eating Pringles

Who doesn’t remember British Prime Minister David Cameron and his Pringle munchies aboard a budget flight heading for Portugal? Well, we do, and with tweets such as “The Prime Minister was 3 seats away from me eating paprika Pringles help me” and “Guys I’m crying he was eating Pringles” became an instantaneous viral hit. Twitter users were quick to flag up other snack related images of Cameron, from eating a hot dog to Cornish pasties.

5. Airport swimming shenanigans

Airport layovers can be a little dull, but the Swim & Dive team from the University of Louisville came up with an ingenious idea on how to beat the boredom with their hilarious and creative stunts on moving walkway.
