It was weird that we had to check after security and go to a corral which had no bathroom or other services about an hour before boarding. Had to check out of the corral to leave and check back in.

Visitors enjoy a peaceful landscape of sandy beaches, deep blue ocean waters and palm trees silhouetting clear blue skies. Surfers, boaters and sun worshippers are drawn to Puerto Escondido, a Mexican paradise whose spectacular beaches entice visitors from all over Mexico and around the world. But despite being internationally known for fantastic surfing and beautiful vistas, the city maintains a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. Don’t expect to find a city overrun with tourists.
