Charlottesville is a city in the US state of Virginia. This southern town is small when compared to some in the US, but makes up for it with a wealth of landmarks and attractions. The Confederate Soldier monument, located in court square offers one of Charlottesville’s most visited landmarks. Every fourth of July an annual celebration is held in Monticello.
